Long car rides. Freestyling stories.

First of all, thank you—seriously—for being curious enough to peek into this little creative circus we’ve been running for the last few years.

Hi! I’m Drew, and I’m basically the unofficial distributor of every Supernothings adventure and every ridiculous situation these characters trip, slip, or tumble into. The creation of these stories—believe it or not—is a tag-team effort between me and my kids.

Like a lot of families, we spend a lot of time in the car. Dance competitions, recitals, races, baseball games, football games, visits with friends and family—you name it, we’ve buckled up for it. And to survive all that driving (and avoid spectacular car sickness), we play games. “I’m Thinking of an Animal,” Say the Same Thing, the license plate game… the classics.

But a couple of years ago, while trying to find fun ways to strengthen some storytelling muscles, we invented a new game: one person starts a story, and everyone else adds to it—no rules, no limits, just pure imagination. And—as anyone who’s ever heard a kid’s unfiltered idea knows—the results were usually hilarious, surprising, and way better than anything any of us could’ve dreamed up alone.

The Supernothings is simply a collection of those car-ride stories, stitched together from chaos, giggles, and an unreasonable amount of snack wrappers.

We hope they bring you even a fraction of the joy we had making them. Enjoy!
